Christina Moore fell in love with acting at an early age, singing and performing in church programs. In high school, Moore toured Chicago with a children’s musical theatre. Christina Moore had her first professional acting job on stage, performing in the production of “Young Abe: the Abraham Lincoln Boyhood Outdoor Musical Drama,” followed by other plays such as “Aunt Dan and Lemon,” “Bodies, Rest and Motion,” “Laundromat,” “Big River,” “Cinderella,” and “Annie.”
After college, Christina Moore moved to L.A. to explore more acting opportunities. Throughout the late 1990s, Christina Moore won small roles in TV shows such as “Beverly Hills, 90210,” “Married…with Children,” “The Burning Zone,” “Wings,” “Silk Stalkings,” “Saved by the Bell: The New Class,” “Fired Up,” “Almost Perfect,” “Friends,” and “The Drew Carey Show.”
Although Christina Moore appeared on various feature films, such as “Fired Up” and “Second Skin,” it was her recurring role in the UPN comedy “Hyperion Bay” from 1998 to 1999 that became her ticket to stardom. Since then, Christina Moore continued to appear on more TV shows, including guest roles on “Suddenly Susan,” “Just Shoot Me,” “Seven Days,” “Family Law,” “24” and “Pasadena.” In 2003, Christina Moore became the featured performer for the eighth season of the long-running comedy show “MADtv,” where she impersonated Brittany Murphy, Sharon Stone, Shannon Elizabeth and Christina Aguilera.
After a season with MADtv, Christina Moore left the show and joined the sixth season of “That ‘70s Show,” replacing Lisa Robin Kelly as the sexy blonde Laurie Forman. Christina Moore then guest-starred on “Hot Properties,” “Will & Grace,” “Women’s Murder Club,” and “Two and a Half Men.” From 2004 to 2007, Christina Moore appeared on several feature films, such as “Without a Paddle,” “The Bad Girl’s Guide,” “Complete Guide to Guys” and “Delta Farce.” In 2008, Christina won a recurring role on the CW revival of the hit 1990s show ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ entitled “90210.” On the series, Moore plays the mischievous mom of Naomi Clark. She was also seen on “Hawthorne” in 2009.
Aside from a long list of TV gigs, Christina Moore is also a founding member of “Bitches Funny,” an all-female sketch group that performs in Los Angeles and New York. She is also a co-owner of the world record-holding drag race team ‘Easy Street Motorsports.’ Christina Moore has also lent her voice to narrate several audio books, including the Diane Duane series “Young Wizards,” which are available on iTunes.
